Privacy Policy

Nudge Ai ("Nudge Ai", "we", "us", or "our") provides a personal reminder, alarm, and to-do application (the "App" or "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of, among others, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA) and other U.S. state privacy laws, and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

The App is operated by SRH Softwares Pvt. Ltd. ("we"). For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at sales@srhsoftwares.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the App needs to work.

Information you provide:

• Account details: your email address and, optionally, your display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier and email they share with us.
• Content you create: reminders, tasks, events, and their titles, notes, dates, times, repeat rules, priorities, and chosen sounds. If you enable optional features, this may also include journal entries, habits, and facts you ask the assistant to remember.

Information collected automatically:

• Device and technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, language and time zone, and a device or session identifier used to keep you signed in.
• Diagnostic data: limited logs needed to keep the Service reliable and secure.

Reminders and alarms are scheduled locally on your device by the operating system, and they ring from your device whether or not it has an internet connection.

If you use Family & Friends (see section 4a), we also collect a push notification token from Apple or Google for the devices you sign in on. It is used only to tell your device that a friend has sent you something, so it can fetch it — the notification itself carries no reminder content. We delete the token when you sign out or delete your account. If you do not use Family & Friends, or you decline notification permission, nothing is sent to you this way.

We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, health records, or any "special category" data. Please do not put sensitive information (for example, medical or financial details) into reminder or task text.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• create and secure your account and keep you signed in across your devices
• store and sync your reminders, tasks, and events so they are available offline and restored if you reinstall
• schedule and deliver notifications and alarms, including sounds, at the times you set
• operate, maintain, debug, and improve the Service
• comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on:

• Contract: to provide the App you asked for — your account, syncing, and delivering your reminders.
• Legitimate interests: to keep the Service secure, reliable, and improved, balanced against your rights.
• Consent: where required, for example device permissions such as notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time in your device settings.
• Legal obligation: where the law requires us to retain or disclose information.

4a. Family & Friends (sharing reminders with people you choose)

Family & Friends is optional. If you use it, you can connect with someone by sending them an invite code, and once you are both connected either of you can create a reminder for the other.

What this means for your information:

• When you invite someone, we store the email address you enter so the invite can be redeemed. We do not tell you whether that address already has an account.
• When you connect with someone, each of you can see the other's name (or email address, if no name is set) and any nickname you give them.
• When you create a reminder for someone, its full contents — including its title, notes, time, and any voice recording you attach — are sent to that person and stored in their account. Treat anything you share this way as information you have given to them. Do not include sensitive details, such as medical or financial information, unless you intend that person to have them.
• You control what reaches your own device. For each person, you choose whether their reminders are added automatically or need your approval first. New connections require your approval by default, and you can change this per person, at any time, in Family & Friends.
• You can disconnect from someone at any time. Neither of you can send to the other afterwards. Reminders already accepted onto a device stay there, and the person who sent one can withdraw it, which removes it from the recipient's device.
• If you delete your account, we delete your connections and the shared reminders you sent, along with the rest of your data.

5. Notifications, alarms, and permissions

The App's core purpose is to alert you. With your permission, it schedules notifications and alarms that can play sound and vibrate and — where you enable it and the operating system allows — can sound as a time-sensitive or critical alert even when your device is set to silent, Do Not Disturb, or a Focus mode, at the volume you have configured.

You control this. You grant notification and, where applicable, critical-alert permission when you first use the App, and you can change or revoke it at any time in your device's system settings. If you revoke permission, reminders and alarms may not alert you.

6. How we share information

We share information only with:

• Service providers ("processors") who host and run the Service on our behalf — for example cloud hosting and database providers, and, if you use the AI assistant, the AI provider that powers it. They may process data only on our instructions.
• Legal and safety: if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than yours, including the United States and India. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK, or other regions with transfer restrictions, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Content you delete is removed from active systems; residual copies in backups are deleted on our normal backup rotation. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

9. How we protect your information

We protect your information with encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls, and other safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

EEA / UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA / CPRA): the right to know and access, delete, and correct your personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share it); and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for those purposes). We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by the CPRA.

Other U.S. states (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws): rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We do not conduct those activities.

Canada (PIPEDA): the right to access and correct your information and to withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits.

To exercise any right, email sales@srhsoftwares.com from your account email, or use the in-app controls (edit your profile, delete content, or delete your account). We will verify your request and respond within the time the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

11. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children. It is intended for users aged 13 and over (16 in the EEA/UK where required). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party services

Sign-in with Apple or Google is governed by those companies' own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
